The International Coach Federation (ICF)
The International Coach Federation (ICF) is the largest worldwide resource for business and personal coaches, and the source for those who are seeking a coach. The ICF is a nonprofit, individual membership organization formed by professionals worldwide who practice business and personal coaching.
The ICF exists to Build, Support and Preserve the integrity of the coaching profession through programs and standards supported by the individual membership.
The ICF maintains a high visibility for the profession through public relations, publicity campaigns, marketing strategies and the Coach Referral Service (CRS). The CRS is an independent, non-profit ICF service which makes it easy for people to find the right coach for their needs.
The ICF develops and implements programs that assist in the professional development of its membership. In addition to the professional development opportunities of an annual conference, the ICF provides professional growth opportunities through its local, regional and virtual chapters throughout the world. Continual support is available through the ICF Web site and publications.
The ICF developed and promotes an industry wide Code of Professional Standards. ICF also developed the first universally accepted Accreditation process which will preserve the integrity of coaching through standardized credentials that will assist consumers in choosing professional coaches.
Why an ICF Credentialed Coach?
A professional coach who has been credentialed by the International Coach Federation has met ICF's stringent requirements of coaching. An ICF credentialed coach has received very specific coach training, has achieved a designated number of experience hours and has been coached by a mentor coach. |

The International Institute of Coaching (IIC) is a leading independent Accreditation Body for the coaching industry, with its core mission to accredit coach training schools and individual coaches world-wide to elevate the success of the coaching industry.
IIC has been Accreditation Body for Coaches and Coach Training Providers since 1999.
The IIC facilitates access to quality accreditation for Coaches, Students, and Clients of Coaches; contributes to the quality of accreditation and ensures availability of a high standard of Coach Training. Quality control of Coaching and Coach Training is a key element in this process.
The IIC works to ensure that all members feel safe at home within the IIC community and empower each other’s success by sharing their skills and knowledge.
The IIC operates with its core mission to elevate the success of the coaching industry by being a role model organisation promoting values such as Integrity, Honesty, Respect, Compassion, Inclusiveness and Faith in Humankind
Why an IIC Accredited Coach?
A professional coach who has been Accredited by the International Institute of Coaching has met IIC's requirements of coaching accreditation.
